Wall Panel Sculpture:
These pieces are made from birch plywood, that has been shaped with a jigsaw, its edges routed,
then sanded, and primer applied. A paper mosaic is then applied, followed
by more layers of oil painting, gilding, glazing, and finally matte varnish. These are large pieces, hanging flush against the wall with hidden hardwood cleats. Please click image or caption for a better look at detail.
Folding Screens:
These pieces are very large, all approximately 8 feet tall, but with continuous design flowing from one panel to the next. They are made using the same techniques as described above.

Seating:
The same technique is used here as for the sculptures, and folding
screens, with the addition of curved plywood parts, and with a steel and titanium
undercarriage on the Terra Firma bench. Please click on an image or caption for a better look.
Curved plane Sculpture:
These pieces are made from specially
curved birch plywood, then painted and finished using the same techniques as in the pieces shown above.
Their dimensions vary from 12 inches to 3 feet in height and
width. Click on image or caption for better viewing.
